Refunds & Returns


Effective: December 4, 2015

Since many of our items are sourced from local artisans or custom-made, all sales are final. But if your item(s) should arrive damaged or if there's any reason that you are not 100% satisfied, please contact us at contact@sidechef.com within 2 business days of receiving your order and we promise to work with you to try to make things right.

Exchanges (if applicable)

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at contact@sidechef.com. If an exchange is approved, send the approved item(s) to: 1514 17th Street Suite 206, Santa Monica, California 90404.

Refunds for shop credit (if applicable)

In the event that we do allow a return, it will only be for shop credit. Depending on the nature of the item, returns may also be subject to a 20% restocking fee.

This policy is only valid for up to 2 days after receiving your order. After this time, we unfortunately cannot offer any shop credit or exchanges.

Only items that are unused and the same condition that you received it will be eligible for a return. All items must also be in their original packaging.

    Eligible returns will also require a receipt or proof of purchase.

    Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your shop credit. 

    If you are approved, then your shop credit will be processed, and a we will send you an email containing a unique code for the value of the item(s) returned that will be valid for 90 days from date your return was processed.

    Late or missing shop credit (if applicable)

    If you haven’t received your shop credit yet, please check your inbox and spam folders. 

      If you still have not received your shop credit yet, please contact us at contact@sidechef.com.

      Shipping

      To return your approved item(s), you should mail them to: 1514 17th Street Suite 206, Santa Monica, California 90404

      You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive shop credit, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your shop credit.

      Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

      If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your shipped item.
